Ampyx Cyber Joins the E-ISAC Vendor Affiliate Program

Ampyx Cyber has joined the Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center (E-ISAC) Vendor Affiliate Program. For a services firm that sits across a wide cross-section of the electric sector, membership formalizes something we already believed: grid threat intelligence is only as good as its willingness to move in both directions.
Overview
On July 7, 2026, Ampyx Cyber joined the E-ISAC Vendor Affiliate Program. The E-ISAC, operated by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), is the electric sector's central hub for gathering and sharing security information among asset owners and operators across North America. The Vendor Affiliate Program extends that circle to the security suppliers, equipment makers, and advisors who work alongside those operators every day. This is our first public note on the membership, and the framing matters to us. We did not join to add a logo to a page. We joined because the value of an information-sharing community is measured by what flows through it, and we are in a position to add to the flow.
What the Vendor Affiliate Program Is
The E-ISAC created the Vendor Affiliate Program to widen the sharing of insight, expertise, and threat perspective directly with E-ISAC members. Eligibility is limited to security or original equipment manufacturer (OEM) suppliers and providers of related technology, products, or information services to the electricity and broader critical infrastructure industries. Participants engage through briefings, working groups, and the E-ISAC's annual grid security conference, GridSecCon. One rule defines the program's character more than any other: affiliates may not use E-ISAC platforms or programs to conduct sales activities. The point is contribution, not a lead list. That constraint is exactly why the program works, and it is exactly the kind of arrangement we were glad to join.
Why This Matters: Information That Runs Both Ways
Most people describe threat intelligence as something you receive. That is half of it. A community that only broadcasts is a newsletter; a community that also listens is a defense. Here is where a consultancy fits differently than a product vendor. A vendor sees the grid through the lens of its own installed base. We sit across a wide array of clients, which gives us a cross-sectional view of what is actually happening in the field: the recurring gaps, the emerging tactics, the patterns that no single operator would see on their own. Membership lets us carry the E-ISAC's insight directly to the operators who need it, and it lets us bring the general trends we are seeing back to the E-ISAC in a form the whole sector can use. Intelligence in, aggregated field experience out. The two-way value is real, and it is the entire reason we are here.
A Seat in the Room
Membership signals where Ampyx Cyber sits in the ecosystem. For a specialized firm whose authority comes from practitioner experience rather than product footprint, we feel that seat is meaningful.

What This Means for Our Clients
The direct beneficiaries are the critical infrastructure owners and operators we serve. Membership sharpens the threat picture we bring to every engagement, grounding our NERC CIP, OT/ICS, and supply chain work in current, sector-validated intelligence rather than yesterday's advisories. When we tell a client that a particular class of exposure is trending, that guidance now carries the weight of a shared, sector-wide vantage point behind it. Better information for us is better protection for them. It also reflects something we say often to clients: the best security programs do not defend in isolation. Participation in the E-ISAC community is the kind of investment we recommend, and joining the Vendor Affiliate Program is us taking our own advice.
The Bottom Line
Grid security is not a solo discipline. No single utility, vendor, or advisor sees the whole board, and the operators who defend the grid are stronger when they share what they are seeing before it becomes an incident.
