Sandra Weiss is an Associate Cybersecurity Consultant at Ampyx Cyber GmbH and the first employee of its German branch. She turns EU cybersecurity regulation into something operators can actually use. She built Ampyx's regulatory playbook, a working reference to NIS2, the Cyber Resilience Act, the CER Directive, DORA and the EU AI Act across more than 30 EU and EEA jurisdictions, which she keeps current as the rules move. She also runs the monitoring behind it: the threat, advisory and regulatory news feeds that keep Ampyx ahead of EU developments, and the EU side of the Ampyx website and LinkedIn presence.

Sandra came to cybersecurity from the Bereitschaftspolizei. Her work spans critical infrastructure and OT security. She is the author of the Ampyx series on firmware, UEFI and supply chain trust, and she maps IEC 62443 and NERC CIP against European law. She holds CompTIA Security+ and Johns Hopkins certificates in AI for Cybersecurity and in AI for industrial control system security.
